- Where can I get a 900 MHz transmitter to experiment with direction
- finding etc. I am considering tearing a cell phone apart if all else
- fails (and a 900 Mhz cordless as well). Interested in all power
- levels (well...almost).
-
- Thanx in advance

- Hi,
- I got my license when I was living in Pennsylvania and have sinced moved
- to New Jersey. When I change my address, do I have to get a new call
- sign as I moved from 3-land to 2-land or can I keep my KD3TR call?
-
- Thanks,

- Subject: FM Broadcast as a freq. ref.
- To: info-hams@ucsd.edu
-
- Recently Gary (I hope my memory is correct) commented that fm stations
- may be assigned frequencies as much as 10 KHz away from the standard.
- I have a stereo rcvr (mainly used as an amp) that displays to 50 KHz.
- It has always been "off" by that much. That is, stations are tuned in for
- best reception when the display reads 50 KHz away from the published freq.
- There's nothing in the service manual that gives an alignment solution.
- The rcvr has a pll ic and a uP control with clock and counter built in.
- The manual speaks of offset diodes used depending on the color of the
- ceramic filters, but the schemetic doesn't show them.
- Anyone have any experience with these things to discuss this via e-mail?
- This has been on the back burner for years, ignoring that digit has been
- sufficient.

- I have just recently acquired a Kenwood TM-2550a with a bad display. Meaning

- it be corrected cheaply.
